Ward Village in Kakaako
An overview update of Ward Village — one of the hottest neighborhoods in Hawaii
As we approach the middle of 2020 we are beginning to see a lot of changes to Ward Village in Kakaako. As you drive through Ward Village in Kakaako, you will immediately notice the towering cranes over the village. Construction is currently occurring simultaneously for both Aalii (Howard Hughes’ 5th Residential Tower) and Koula (Howard Hughes’ 6th Residential Tower). Howard Hughes’ 7th tower Victoria Place is expected to have their groundbreaking ceremony later in the year.
Currently, the main focus has been finishing Aalii which just has a few units remaining but work has begun on Koula as you can see below. As for Victoria Place, sales are continuing to exceed everyone’s expectations but there are still a decent selection of units. Howard Hughes released the Ward Village first-quarter reports and the current sale progress and here are the sales of the current new construction units: Aalii (83% sold), Koula (76% sold), Victoria Place (66% sold).
