Ward Village’s 9th high-rise tower — 697 Reserved Housing Units For Sale
If you are looking for affordable housing or reserved housing in Honolulu, you are in luck! Ward Village has just introduced Ulana at Ward Village — the 9th high rise tower in Howard Hughes’ 60-acre master planned community. This 400ft high tower will feature a mix of studios, 1-bed, 2-bed, and 3-bedroom units. The tower will have 17 units per floor and will be the same from floors 2 through 41. There will be a detached 9-story parking structure on the West/Ewa side of the building and a park on the East/Diamond Head. The units will feature floor to ceiling glass windows, 8ft high ceilings, PTAC air condition, and parking with all units (larger units will have 2 parking stalls). Ulana will also feature a variety of amenities some of which includes outdoor BBQ area, patio cabana, a fitness room, shared co-working spaces, a pavilion area, a lawn area, dog park, and bike and surfboard storage.
Ulana will be located on the Ewa side of Ward Ave and will be bordered by Auahi, Kamani, and Pohukaina Street shown on the map below. The main residential entrance will be off of Auahi Street and the commercial retail will be along Pohukaina Street.
Is Affordable Housing and Reserved Housing the same?
While this is sometimes used interchangeably by the public, it is actually different. It is similar in the sense that these units are typically sold to Hawaii residents below regular market price, but they are run by two separate state agencies.
