Within the last few years, Kakaako has been known to be the new hip and thriving neighborhood that features beautiful street art, new residential buildings, and amazing restaurants and eateries. At Ward Village in Ae’o, there lies one of the best lunch spots in the village — Rinka!

This is the same Rinka that used to be by Heald College but with a revamped menu and interior decor. Rinka is now more modern and has a more open-styled layout but still features party rooms should you have a large party. For parking, you may park in the Whole Foods parking lot or in the Ward Movie Theatre parking lot.

Rinka Lunch Menu

Rinka’s Lunch sets are the most popular option as they come with a hot broth Udon (thick Japanese buckwheat noodles) and Chawanmushi (Japanese soft egg mixed with meat, fishcake, and mushroom). They also come with two assorted sides that you can choose from.

Chirashi lunch set. Side options chosen — solf boiled egg and bamboo

If you are looking for a place to have a nice business lunch or if you’re simply in the area and are craving Japanese food, then Rinka is for you! These options are only available for lunch as their dinner menu is more elaborate and a bit more pricy. All the options are great and you cannot go wrong with one of their sets. Be sure to stop on by from 11–2 for lunch (last call for lunch is at 1:45pm).
