Official Ililani Lottery Results from the 10/31 Affordable Housing Lottery
Ililani is Kakaako’s newest affordable housing project brought to you by Locations LLC and Kenneth Kai Chang (developed by Kam Development LLC).
The project had a ton of interest but in order to qualify for Ililani’s 165 Affordable Housing Units (regulated by HHFDC), applicants had to meet specific income limits (be under 140% of the area median income done by the State and changes every year) and meet these general requirements:
-US Citizen or permanent resident alien
-At least 18 years of age
-Resident of the State of Hawaii who currently resides in the State of Hawaii
-Shall physically reside in the unit purchased
-Does not own a majority interest (more than 50%) in a fee simple or leasehold -property anywhere in the world
-Has sufficient gross income to qualify for the loan to finance the purchase
There have been 480 applicants who were accepted by HHFDC and were issued application approval letters. The application number is what is shown on the letter that was mailed to you and the lottery # is the number that it was drawn at the lottery.
KEEP IN MIND AND PLEASE NOTE that this is not the order of which you will choose your unit. The list will be further sorted by the applicant’s AMI group and you will be contacted with your unit selection date and appointment time on a later date.
