The newest planned high rise for the Ala Moana Neighborhood

Ala Moana Plaza will be located on the corner of Piikoi and Kona Street and will be build on the west portion of Ala Moana Shopping Center that is currently occupied by Nijiya Market, Eggs N’ Things, Taiyo Ramen, Chodang, and JQ Hawaii Inc. The building is looking to build a 400 ft tall tower that will connect directly to the mall.

The building is tentatively planning on having 595 units (119 Affordable and 476 Market Units) and will comprise of studios, 1-bed, 2-bed, and 3-bedroom units.

The affordable units are planned to be affordable rentals and will have fixed rents for 30 years. There will be 225 parking stalls for the entire project meaning that there will be 1 stall for every 2.6 units. The developer is planning on having a 9-story parking structure which will be located adjacent to the property which they may offer residents to rent a parking stall from.
